Rescue Pit Bull Gets His Own Kitty, Loves Her Like A Daughter

Rescue Pit Bull Gets His Own Kitty, Loves Her Like A Daughter
Bubba, the 7-year-old rescue pit bull, has always been obsessed with cats. It started when his human mom Rebecca Pizzello got him from a shelter in Phoenix, Arizona when he was just 3 months old. As he got home, he found out Rebecca’s roommate was taking care of her litter of kittens, and the pit bull immediately fell in love. Finally, after 6 years of longing, Bubba was given his very own kitten, which was later named Rue, by his human mom.

“I always knew he’d love having one of his own but I wanted to wait until we moved to NYC this year,” said Pizzello. She got the tiny ginger kitten from a shelter, too. “The fact that Bubba and Rue have identical coloring still blows my mind…I knew Bubba would be filled with joy the second we walked in the door and  boy was I right.”

Just after a few hours at the new home, Rue was comfortable enough to fall asleep on Bubba. “I think Rue thinks Bubba is her mom and Bubba loves it,” Pizzello added. “He bathes her like a baby and snuggles close to her to make her comfortable. They will definitely be a fun duo to watch grow up together!”

Animal Shelter Partners With Elderly Care Facility To Save Both Orphaned Kittens And Elders

Animal Shelter Partners With Elderly Care Facility To Save Both Orphaned Kittens And Elders

Being short-staffed at the time, an animal shelter in Arizona made an unexpected move to solve the problem, which was turning to senior care facility for help to take care of two orphaned kittens. “To some, it may seem peculiar at first: Residents who are in need of around-the-clock care themselves, given the task to care for these young kittens,” says Catalina Springs Memory Care Executive Director Sharon Mercer. “But there are skills, emotions, and needs that do not just leave a person with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. The desire to give love and receive love remains.”

The program is the initiative from health services director Rebecca Hamilton. Besides caring for the elders, the woman also volunteers to foster felines. She found taking care of cats rewarded her a lot of joy and happiness, and this urged her to share the pleasure with other seniors.

The initiative was successful, as the overall condition of both the kittens and the elderly has improved. The elders were asked to take care of two newborn cats, Turtle and Peaches, and both of the kittens have doubled in weight. As for patients of the memory care facility, “The kittens have given us the opportunity to nurture this human condition that lies in each and every one of our residents,” says Mercer. The joy that the elderly get from bottle feeding, socializing, and cuddling needy newborns is immense – and the kittens feel grateful too.

People Are Laughing At The Way This Cat Reacts To Being Allowed On The Balcony For The First Time

If you ever need a cat actor, the 4-year-old Nuka here might make awesome scenes. Cats are known to be very expressive, but Nuka just took it to another level. In a recent post by his owner, Essi, Nuka is shown to be overwhelmed with emotions as he was allowed on the balcony for the first time.

“He has never been an outdoors cat and even if it would be an option here, he’s literally terrified of everything. He’s a scaredy-cat” explained Essi.

That makes the balcony an ideal place to let Nuka experience the outside world while remain safe and able to retreat immediately. “As long as I am with him on the balcony he’s fine,” Essi said, “He’s curious and interested about birds […], but doesn’t seem to want to hunt them. He just sits and watches.”

Some suggested that Nuka’s derpy expression might be caused by a medical condition, but Essi ensured that she had a vet seen him and he’s fine. “He has trouble with his motoric skills like jumping. He runs into walls a lot, [but] they couldn’t find anything wrong with him. He’s living a normal kitty life and is a happy derp” the owner elaborated.

And don’t worry about the kitty jumping out, Essi reassured that “the apartment complex I live in is going to have balcony windows installed”. Now scroll down and see the expressive kitty’s faces yourself! Now without further ado, scroll down and see the expressive kitty yourself!

People Called This Cat “Worthless” but Then a Women Gave Him Her Love During His Last Few Years

This poor thin cat was continuing with the life of a swindled street cat. Each time he would see a human walk around, he was ignored and called “vain”. Luckily someone who venerated animals saw the poor kitty in such wretchedness and had any sort of impact. They did all that they could, yet all he has foreseen that would do is look out the window at the sun. It’s dreadful when a pet surrenders us, yet it’s an unavoidable truth we ought to go up against. When we give our pets and besides can be run of the mill, the affection genuinely checks.

Franky the cat had a fortunate departure all on account of a sort and tireless cat sweetheart. Mary Jo Schafrath saw him outside an eatery window and thought he was dead. He was unmistakably harmed and laid still looking just as he had some extreme damage to his legs. At that point, she saw him move and hear his mournful cry. It was then that she made the quick and conclusive move. She scooped him up and took him to the creature doctor’s facility.

It was then that she realized that, on the off chance that he endured, that would be the beginning of a cherishing and dependable relationship.

It was contacted and go and no one idea he would pull through. Indeed, even the veterinarian had questions – the wounds were so extreme and Franky was just 4 months old. It looks just as he was covering up under a vehicle hood and got captured in the fan belt when it began. He endured two broken legs. Obviously, such wounds are not so phenomenal. Cats appreciate the glow of a vehicle motor and the separation that the under-hat presence brings.

The counsel if for vehicle proprietors to strike against the vehicle hood on the off chance that they stop outside for a brief timeframe. Franky has had two tasks and is expected another yet has come through up until now. He and Mary Jo are best of companions and she paid for all costs despite the fact that she had no association with the cat.

What to do to your impede cat

Your multi-week old little cat just got the front entryway hammered on him, crushing his spirit. The vet says he won’t ever have the capacity to utilize his back legs again. He won’t have the capacity to walk or utilize the litter box. You will need to deal with him. What do you do? Slaughter him, or keep him?

I say you keep him! You should figure out how to deal with him. It will be a considerable measure of work, however, the affection that you two will have for one another is well justified, despite all the trouble. How would I know this? My better half and I have three cats whose back legs don’t work. One cat that was brought into the world with short front legs. One cat that had her back broken as a little cat, she can utilize her back legs, however, can’t control her bladder or her colon. We likewise have a cat that has leukemia. Goodness definitely, we additionally have five typical cats that we protected.

I figure our cats don’t have the foggiest idea about that they are disabled. They circled and play a ton. They act like they truly do appreciate being alive. We get a great deal of happiness and snickers from them. We have needed to figure out how to express their bladder and colon (make them pee and crap). That can be stopped testing. When you express the bladder you need to tenderly crush it and it gets a kick out of the chance to move around as a little water expand.

Stray Kittens Born Without Eyelids Couldn’t Be Happier After Humans Saved Their Sight

This is Dora and her brother Felix. The two adorable kittens were once strays in New South Wales, Australia until a loving couple rescued them and gave them a home. However, the couple found something unusual about the kittens’ appearance.

Dora and Felix were examined at RSPCA’s Blue Mountains shelter, where it all became clear: the kittens were born without eyelids. “Without corrective surgery, the kittens were likely to go blind within a year,” Patrick Jones of RSPCA NSW wrote on his blog. “Thanks to the amazing vets from the Eye Clinic for Animals (in Sydney), the surgery that Felix and Dora so desperately needed was made possible.” Fortunately, the kittens’ surgeries were successful, and they have been healthy and kickin’ since then. Let’s wish the two a wonderful life ahead.
