10+ Times Owners Wanted Cats And Dogs To Live Together, But It Didn’t Work Out As Planned

Ever heard of the phrase ‘fighting like cats and dogs’? Well, we have seen a few(very few) exceptional cases where cats and dogs get along well, but most of the times the phrase mentioned above proved to be true. And its because, by nature, dogs are more playful and love socializing, on the other hand, cats would do anything to get their independence.

You might think that now, you’ll have to choose between either being a cat-person or a dog-person, but what if you get the best of both worlds? With a very little probability, but yes these two can actually get along well. There’s one more thing to know, even if they do get along well, there’s always a room for some drama.

We have compiled a few pictures of moments when felines and canines openly express their despise towards each other. Scroll down and check it out. Do not forget to comment!

Cat Was SHOCKED When Baby Let Out A Fart. But Her Next Move Cracked Even Mom Up—LOL!

Babies are without a doubt, the most adorable creatures on earth. Cats and dogs are probably tied at second place. Imagine what would happen if we combined the cuteness of three of them together. If you can’t really picture it in your mind, you don’t have to worry—just check out the trio in the following video!

Nelda the 8-month-old Labrador was cuddling with Pebbles the Ragdoll kitten and 6-week-old baby Elsarose on the sofa. The pooch looks really relaxed, while his feline friend looks totally smitten by the tiny human. But the moment of peace is broken when the baby lets out a fart! The cat was really shocked and stepped away instantly. Maybe she didn’t want to stay around for what would come later!

Whitney Braley has been together with her Husky since forever. Banner, the now 3-year-old dog, is trained to assist Whitney with many important tasks. “She alerts to PTSD episodes, anxiety attacks, migraines, guidework, momentum pull, medication retrieval, self harm interruption and a few more,” Whitney said. “We do a lot of rescue, and she’s always attached to kittens. Two years ago I had my first bottle baby kitten that was found in a ditch, and Banner raised her. That particular cat still lives with us but she’s fostered at least ten different liters of kittens over the years. This is the first time SHE found something like this.”

The 3-year-old Husky has been together with Whitney since she was a pup, and Whitney trained Banner herself to assist her and others with a variety of things. “She alerts to PTSD episodes, anxiety attacks, migraines, guidework, momentum pull, medication retrieval, self harm interruption and a few more,” Whitney shared.

The scene was unnerving. Banner found a sealed cardboard box in the woods, with 7 newborn kittens inside barely a day old and freezing to death. Banner alerted Whitney then proceeded to rescue the kittens out of the woods. “Someone must have just put them into a cardboard box, closed the lid tight and left them there to die,” Whitney said in an interview with Metro. “They probably thought that no one would ever discover them. I don’t even know how Banner knew they were in there. The kittens were freezing and weren’t meowing or anything.”

“It makes me sick that anyone could do that to these tiny innocent animals. It’s so cruel and heartless,” she stressed.

Since that moment, Banner hasn’t left the kittens side and has adopted them as if they were her own. “I got her spayed around 1.5 years old, but she’s very maternal,” Whitney shared. “Now I will find the kittens appropriate homes, that will love them forever. Our local shelter kills in three days, so it’s best if I do it myself. That’s the reason I always end up fostering babies. I don’t want them to die.”

“I’m so happy that now because of Banner, these kittens will go on to live their lives with loving families. It warms my heart.”

The service dog alerted her owner Whitney of something strange in the woods recently.

Banner lead Whitney from the house to a quiet spot where they found a sealed cardboard box.

10+ Of The Times When Cats And Dogs Proved That They Can Be Best Friends

The cats and dogs are two different species and have always been known for their hatred for each other. This is probably because they see the world differently in their own ways. “The cat tries to get away, the dog thinks the cat is inviting it to a game, and so chase ensues with neither party understanding what the motivation of the other one is,” says anthrozoologist John Bradshaw. However, when the these two do get along well, their bond becomes unbreakable.
